Currently, my work is a combination of various materials; mainly hand woven tiny glass beads called seed beads and fabricated metalwork. Other materials include pigmented epoxy resin, cement, or glass enamel. The work is often organic in nature and never “perfect”. Color plays an important role in the work, but is grounded by the neutrality of the metal, mostly oxidized sterling and fine silver.

I love every aspect of making the work, from collecting the tools and materials to designing and physically making the work. All work is created by me in my studio. It is always a challenge to learn new techniques and extremely satisfying when what is at once just an idea or vision in the mind becomes an actuality in the hand.  Driven by process and experimentation, I hope for my work to always be changing and growing. I also hope for the wearer of my jewelry to experience as much pleasure and happiness as I get from making it.
